DC Squared is a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to technology, arts, and creative opportunities for underserved communities in Washington, D.C. Originally known as FORIA, the organization needed a new name, brand, and public launch strategy to reflect its mission.
Our Approach
Bold Branding Group guided the full transformation from FORIA to DC Squared. The new name symbolized growth, collaboration, and innovation within the nation’s capital. The team designed a bold visual identity system, including logo, color palette, and communication materials. Bold also supported the public launch during Washington D.C.’s Art All Night Festival, produced in partnership with the D.C. government, introducing the new brand to the community through an immersive experience.
The Results
The rebrand generated strong engagement and excitement among community members, artists, and city partners. DC Squared’s launch positioned it as a credible, future-focused nonprofit driving access to technology and creativity in Washington, D.C.
